12th Annual New York Oncology Forum
The CAHON annual New York Oncology Forum (NYOF) is a one and a half day educational program that includes presentations on new developments and updates from the latest ASH, ASCO and SITC meetings including novel agents for Hematology and Oncology. 2025 will mark the 12th anniversary for this annual event which draws more than 100 clinicians, researchers, medical students, clinical fellows as well as laboratory and health care related scientists working in the hematology and oncology.

NYOF Young Investigator Travel Awards
To foster growth and achievement amongst CAHON's early career or physician-in-training members, CAHON will award up to 10 travel awards for current fellows or residents invested in the CAHON community. If you are interested in attending this exciting event and meeting with CAHON members in New York, please consider applying for this travel award.
Eligibility Criteria
- Current CAHON member - Available to physicians-in-training, including residency or fellowship training (Associate Membership Category, waived dues) or, physicians within 3 years of fellowship training at the level of instructor or assistant professor (Regular Membership Category, dues $100 USD).

Junior Investigator Awards
CAHON is pleased to announce that we will also be offering Junior Investigator Awards (JIAs) this year. The Junior Investigator Award recognizes the achievements of outstanding Asian/Asian American high school and college student leaders. Through this award, CAHON wishes to encourage young students to participate in scientific research.
Recipients of the JIA will be honored during CAHON’s New York Oncology Forum on October 4-5, 2025. Awardees will receive an award of $500 and an official Certificate of Award.
Eligibility Criteria
- Outstanding high school or college student from the Asian community in the United States.
- Non-Asian individual in the United States with a keen interest in Asian culture.
- Demonstrated interests in biomedical career.
- Availability to attend CAHON’s Award Ceremony during the New York Oncology Forum on the evening of Saturday, October 4.

- Academic transcript from last semester
- One-page personal statement describing career and educational goals
- One letter of recommendation from school counselor, teacher, or research mentor
